Kitten Health

All of our kittens are sold with a valid health certificate, their first two booster shots, and their rabies shot. Our kittens are sold as altered pets only, and we do not ship our kittens. Our kittens must be indoor cats, and they must not be declawed or devocalized.

The HCM gene mutation test is negative for all our cats either by direct test or by parentage. This means that no Kerrycoons kitten can inherit the currently identified gene for HCM disease. As the cats get older we also do an HCM ultrasound screening on our breeding cats.

Additionally, the feline spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) DNA test is negative for all our cats either by direct test or by parentage.
